The Average Joe |
|
The phrase 'The Average Joe' originated between the 1920s and 1940s when the name Joe began to rival John as the typical name for males. Since then the phrase has grown in popularity and is used to describe the normal man on the street, but who is this Average Joe we are being compared to? In order to answer this question, twelve Joes have been interviewed in order to determine their average so that we can know to whom we are being compared. | ![]() |
